Mega star Angelina Jolie recently made headlines when she revealed that she had opted for a double mastectomy after learning that she had inherited a high risk of breast cancer.  Decisions like this one are difficult for and brave for younger women, something that Bright Pink founder Lindsay Avner knows all too well. 

At 23, Lindsay became the youngest patient inside the country to decide on a double mastectomy with reconstruction, after losing her mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and learning that she also had an 87% risk of developing breast cancer.
