Sideburns are just as important as the actual hair cut for a male. With so many ways to grow them, they need to be trimmed regularly otherwise they’ll look unkept.

Below are a few tips for when you’re trimming your sideburns:

• Before you start to trim your sideburns, comb them following the direction in which they grow
• When trimming, make sure to hold the trimmer facing you. This means position the trimmer vertically and trimming the sideburns in a downward motion.
• To check for any hair which extend beyond the hairline, comb the sideburns back and then trim.
• To make sure your sideburns are even, look into the mirror and use your finger to check how even your sideburns are. Place a finger at the bottom of each sideburn.
