<\/span>Kendall Jenner and her new hair color, due to George Papanikolas and Joico!<\/span><\/span> Love ’em or hate ’em something is sure concerning the Kardashian-Jenner family: they’re major style and wonder trend setters–especially at the hair scene. The sisters’ hair cuts, color and extensions are a number of the most-Googled searches.<\/p>\n

And Kendall and Kylie Jenner, daughters of Kris and Bruce Jenner, have certainly made their mark in beauty! From walking in runway shows at The big apple Fashion Week, to their outfit of the day blog, to modeling for major advertising campaigns, these “it girls” are within the spotlight now greater than ever.<\/p>\n

Joico celebrity stylist George Papanikolas had the chance to upgrade the sisters’ hair color only recently using Joico Vero K-PAK Color and lightener for a young person-perfect finish that’s shiny, healthy and salon friendly!<\/p>\n

Kylie opted for a quintessentially Kardashian dramatic, deep brunette, while her sister Kendall received a very on-trend balayage highlight enhancement (NOT ombre!) for her natural medium-brown hue.<\/p>\n

Here, George shares his color strategies:<\/p>\n

Kendall had virgin hair so when she asked Papanikolas for a subtle upgrade of her natural Level 5.5 medium brown color, he kept it natural looking but enhanced.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Kylie Jenner shows off her new shiny, healthy hair color.<\/span><\/span> He created balayage highlights with Joico K-PAK VeroLight Lightener + 40-volume developer, and applied the formula in a v-shape\u2014finer on the roots and midlengths and heavier on the ends–and lifted the colour to golden blonde.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s best to not lift brunette hair super light,\u201d he says. Then he glossed her hair from base to ends for 5 minutes on the bowl with Joico Vero K-PAK Chrome Demi-Permanent Color \u00bd A7 + \u00bd A9 + Activator to neutralize any warmth.<\/p>\n

Though Kylie requested “black” hair, color expert Papanikolas knew that “black” would mainly be a regret, given how often Kylie changes her style. “Black color tends to appear too dull and inky,\u201d he explains. \u201cPlus i understand how young girls are\u2014they change their hair color regularly. So i made a decision to make life easy for myself when she comes back. This dark brown formula looks ‘black’ but it\u2019s still shiny and reflective.\u201d<\/p>\n
